My church has a large OLD television we need to dispose of. Do you take them, and if so, what is the cost for me to drop it off?

I dropped off a TV I bought in 1987 last week (CRT). They charge by the pound ($1.30 per lb I think), so those big, heavy TVs are pricey to recycle. Must have a scheduled appt for drop off, call ahead, or schedule online.

The Rooney Road Recycling Center accepts electronics, including TVs, as a convenience to the public. However, customers pay the full cost of recycling these items, as opposed to the subsidized rate of recycling household hazardous chemicals and wastes. If you only have electronics to recycle, Blue Star Recyclers and Sustainability are both e-Certified and can recycle electronics at a less expensive price. Best Regards, The Rooney Road Recycling Center.
