It should be fine typically it's the increase in the water and the cooler weather going from going from drastically hot weather like we've had. Trees in New Mexico have issues with that. Another thing that can affect it in xeriscaping the land
You can come in to the office and grab a soil testing kit. This kit has all the instructions you need to collect the best soil for sampling. You will then send it to the address in the instructions, CSU Main Campus. They conduct tests and get back to you with how to best address your lawn. The total cost is $35 for a basic testing. It is more likely that this tree is affected with lilac ash borer than EAB. Still, if removing the tree make sure you engage a professional who can dispose of the material roerly. If you still believe this is EAB, you need to have it comfirmed and that starts in our office. There is a special proceedure for this which must be adhered to. Please call our office to know what type sample must be collected or to arrange a home visit.
