For trout use worms or power bait. Small mouth use a soft plastic on a Texas rig or shaky head. Bulhead and cat fish both will bite on chicken gizzards covered in Jello mix powder and garlic powder. You will want to have appropriate line sizes as well. 6-8 for trout. 10 for small mouth. And probably at least 12 for cats. Those are the main fish you will find in those ponds. Ive only caught big black bass off of the minnows that swim in the shallow rocks catch them live, real small hooks. Use them for live bait off the pier. Bang ! They only eat those small fish! Keep the minnows under 3 inches
