They do NOT accommodate for low income. I'm a disabled single mother who lived at Beechwood for 3 years. I paid my rent on time every month and neither I nor my daughter created any problems for management or staff whatsoever. However in 2013 "new owners" took over and I was given a 45 day notice to vacate when my lease was up simply because I was on a low income program which they were no longer accepted. In my opinion it's a sad discriminatory practice within the housing industry which makes it increasingly difficult for low income families to find a decent place to live in Macomb and Oakland County. And even when you are lucky enough to find a decent place 9x out of 10 "new owners" come in and decide they're gonna get rid of all the "riff raff" that being, those less fortunate than others...it's a truly sad situation that's quite sickening. God Bless
They used to Section 8, I'm sure they probably still do. I am not sure about the low income for seniors.
