They most certainly do. (I can't imagine what hospital would not accept it other than perhaps a private one for the obscenely rich. BCBS is very common.) That said, you could still get screwed due to how billing is generally done. For example, the emergency room and the emergency room doctor usually bill you separately. So while a hospital may accept your insurance and be considered in network, the actual doctor might not. Not saying this will happen here - just something to be aware of, really.
