As others have stated no.. besides the risk of losing it or being stolen..its a health risk bc of machines and certain electrical instruments used.. it can be quite dangerous.

They don't want you to have any metal, but some will just let it stay and be taped on, It's really better not to risk it though. It could too easily slip off - ORs are generally quite cold, meaning your fingers will shrink - and get lost. This would presumably make you rather unhappy. So it's best kept somewhere safe at home, or just with your spouse (or whoever accompanies you to the hospital), to be returned when you wake up.
