That is a great question. Confluence Park is seamless mix of art, architecture and nature. Its beautiful shade pavilions are a peaceful place to just relax and watch the San Antonio River or bring the family to have some unstructured outdoor play time. The park acts as a gateway to the 8-mile hike and bike trail known as the Mission Reach. While it does not include grills, picnic tables or play sets, Confluence Park is an inspirational and enjoyable community nature park. It's a linear park. There is also some spaces just to hang out. Great to walk, bike, run on.
