Beautiful park to connect to the river. Part of the master plan to restore the mission reach to a natural state
James Smith
Nice small park, quick access to trails along the San Antonio River and San Pedro Creek. The park show cases a lot of South Texas native plants, trees and rain water catchment and use.

Hi Loretta, we're delighted that you and your grandson will visit Confluence Park. All pathways are ADA accessible--which means a wagon will be just fine. Enjoy!
I have seen ppl with there poles so yes but about the the fishing licence idk. There's no fee to get in everything is open to walk into the river walk area
If it's nothing over the top, no, especially when closed
Confluence Park is free, open to the public and managed by the San Antonio River Foundation--a local nonprofit with the mission of enhancing cultural, educational, ecological and recreational experiences along the river.
WiFi is available only in the Estela Avery Education Center, which can be accessed through reservation. More information about booking facilities at Confluence Park can be found at: https://sariverfound.org/confluence-park/book-an-event/.
Have you tried to get online? I didn't know they had venues at all.
Yes it is
Opens next week jan. 17. Will have massive arching pavillions that function as rain capture systems to operate all park irrigation, an education center on water cycles in Texas ecosystem.
I don't see why not. I had mine in the Mission cementary.
I've seen people fish before.
Steve, i dont know you and will give you the benefit of doubt -perhaps this was an ill conceived attempt at humor. Your relevancy as a "local guide" is comparable to your dinosaur comment either you preferred to profane with ridicule or in fact did not know that Dinosaur George was originally scheduled on this date. I suggest that you do due diligence in the future.
Booking pavilions or the education room at confluence park can be done through the city's page on san antonio parks and recreation. I believe it's either a link on the side or at the very bottom of the website in small print. It should be a hyperlink to some contact info.
Thank you for asking. Confluence Park is a privately managed by the San Antonio River Foundation, it is not a city or county park. Please review our "visit" page to learn more about photography at the park: https://sariverfound.org/confluence-park/visit-the-park/.
Yes, all of the facilities are available for rental. Confluence Park is managed by the San Antonio River Foundation, it is not a city park. Pricing and available information is at http://confluencepark.sariverfound.org/park-reservations/. Or feel free to call our office Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm at 210-224-2694.
Confluence Park is awesome it is really designed from a conservation standpoint all the water is collected in drains in a downward Direction they brought back to natural habitat and with the plants and trees and animals to bring it in there going to have all the animals that used to be there originally and it's just a nice design and it's a water-saving they provide their own water for the landscaping and all they provide a water thing we were in about provides water and Halsted of a plastic bottles you refill your own and it's already saved bottles plastic bottles for being used it's a truly great place and the city will provide electricity for a DJ that so don't worry about that bring your speakers in your turntables and all that stuff
That is a great question. Confluence Park is seamless mix of art, architecture and nature. Its beautiful shade pavilions are a peaceful place to just relax and watch the San Antonio River or bring the family to have some unstructured outdoor play time. The park acts as a gateway to the 8-mile hike and bike trail known as the Mission Reach. While it does not include grills, picnic tables or play sets, Confluence Park is an inspirational and enjoyable community nature park. More information can be found at http://confluencepark.sariverfound.org/visit/. We hope to see you there!
It doesn't, but there are stone benches and stairs for kids to run around and jump off of.
Yes, you'll just have to walk down to the river. There's also a small pedestrian bridge to fish from if your willing to walk to it. It's about an 1/8 of a mile from there.
Confluence Park is open daily sunrise to sunset (we corrected the hours on Google). We hope to see you there!
