If you are calm and quiet the deer may approach you.

The public is not allowed unless you live near the neighborhood where the park is. Because there is no parking, outsiders are not encouraged to visit. So if you live on the park or next to it then you have access to it. The gates do have locks and there is no main entrance. There's only a pedestrian entrance and you have to walk through drainage ditches to get to it. This park has borders with district 10 and district 9. Neither one has answers as to why this is listed as a public park when there is no access to the general public for it. The San Antonio Parks department says it is dangerous and a pedestrian walkway only. The only parking is a quarter mile away in a neighborhood in front of someone's house. Otherwise you take a chance of getting ticketed or towed, or, both. Visit some other park that has parking and amenities, that is, unless you live in the neighborhood.

You can park at the tennis courts or on the street. There is a walk in path from the street.
