You can call Park Services and put in a request to have the water tested. If the water has an odor or appears dirty, there may be a break in the line.

Just to be safe, check with the city parks department and make a reservation. This way no one can take your space.

Actually we were just at the splash pad Friday March 2nd and the splash pad was on and going. My kids played in it my granddaughter cried her eyes out cuz we wouldn't let her play because it was chilly and misty weather aleeady. **SLPASH PAD IS OPERATING ALREADY***

Yes there is actually a specialty dog area that also has a dog agility course and it is really amazing. And if you have a well-behaved dog that does not attack others there are trails that you can go jogging or walking on up and down a bunch of huge heels that are very slightly that your dog can go with you and is long as it is well behaved there's not a problem with it walking next to you off of leash or just sniffing around on the ground a couple feet away from you mine do but mine are not aggressive either.. there is a water fountain provided for the puparoos to drink from as well. It is amazing there!! I highly recommend Pearsall Park!!!

I'm not sure. It wasn't supposed to close until 9pm but for some reason it's cycled. My Family was out here on a Saturday and by 5pm the water didn't come back on so We left.

Yes, so long as there are relatively few people there. When I was there (6:30 on Monday, 7/20), there were about 6 skate boarders and they all looked pretty advanced so they were whipping around like they owned the joint.

@Xkon 210, I do believe they close at 11pm. Ive been there a few times and the water sprinklers turn off like at 9pm. Lake? I don't know what lake but I do know that the cop starts coming in the car around 10:30pm., making sure to give a heads up. Doesn't say anything just stays parked with the yellow lights on in the parking lot. I know because we always go there late but maybe too late. Lol

Splash pad area should be on til 7:30-8pm.however I dont recommend this as the water is highly contaminated, it does not take you long to SENSE that in the smell and possibly taken in a lab you might want to take some clean water as I did a while back, it was so bad I put it in a post and it was about the time it was in the news. A mother had taken her child there only to end up in the Emergency room. I know it's not very safe. I burned my eyes out with that water once around that time.. Just to be safe I don't think it is worth it . Maybe I will take a sample and test it myself. It's not just me assuming this. Will look into this. They apparently have a expensive system that cleans it as well but I think it's a matter of poor quality control there. Seen it in hospitals and in operating rooms, it wouldn't surprise me. I think parents need to be more careful and voice this concern, I go but my daughter will not get in water horrible and gross. I refuted the Parks lies.
