Is section 8 open to apply at this time? I'm A senior citizen.. I've been unable to work since last August because of cancer. I took ss early so I would have a source of income. I'm so far behind on my rent I may be asked to leave. Any suggestions?

Section 8 has an online application always available, but collected 1 certain day every month. From there, you will receive a call for a personal appointment. You must bring all information required. It does not matter what your circumstances, this service takes time. If you are homeless they may be able to assist with emergency housing, not recommended.
