The women that gave me my interview was very friendly. Only shelter in or around Knoxville that actually helps with single fathers. Most shelters only take in women and children, but this place does exceptions. There is a wait list, which I am still waiting on. It has only been like two weeks, but I am hoping we can come home soon. We are currently in Chattanooga, because it was the closest shelter that took in immediate family housing.

We are a shelter for families with children experiencing homelessness that utilizes space offered by local faith-based congregations.
I don't think they do that. Maybe she can go to Greyhound and if she has an ID to another address besides Knoxville and she can say she was abandoned here they may help.
