Why isn't HyVee mandating masks? I understand social distancing can be difficult while shopping - I've had even HyVee employees get way too close to me - but a mask mandate would be easy and effective.

They do when the local health department mandates them

Because it's not mandatory,it's up to the store to enforce rules.If you're worried about masks then maybe you should shop online.Thats a option that works as well.
