First class is, the rest aren't...front 2 cars are designated first class.
Yes Jim cars are heated and air conditioned
Not all are heated but probably a lot more comfortable to go this time of year and wear more...went last summer and cooked ...still fun though.

In general the cars are preheated and will lose heat as you travel. So wear appropriate clothing, it doesnt lose heat fast but you will notice. The first class cars are heated all the way through the trip and are very comfortable.
