I am looking for a dark sky observing area for telescope viewing. Could I get special permission to be there after dark?

Doubt it but you can always call tue conservation office and ask. There is brommelsiek park which has a special area for telescope amd night viewing.

Mdc has a owl event that allows people to listen inside Busch's after hours. My opinion is get a group and apply for a permit. GL
