They have s4s red oak boards. I've been in your shoes as a new woodworker just 6 months ago. I was also intimidated walking in my first time. Just go to the cashier desk and tell them you are justing getting into woodworking and looking for s4s red oak boards. They will show you where they are and be super helpful. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Once you go to NW Lumber, you'll rarely go anywhere else. Good luck!

We have 1x S4S Red Oak. From 1x4-1x12. Even in lengths up to 12'. We also offer S4S services for other wood species if you wanted to pick your own boards from the S2S piles. We would be happy to show you everything & explain how it works.
