I go through this all the time with a package I have delivered monthly from Amazon. I call Amazon they are very helpful. This has to be one of the worst post offices. I receive other people's mail, don't receive mail of mine that is important.
Call customer service for usps and make a claim. Same thing happened to me. That post office is horrible theyre not doing anything about the workers who are stealing our items
Any tracking on your item? Was it delivered through USPS or UPS? If its UPS call them and ask. They should be able to track it. If its USPS call the Post Office and see what they say, this seems like a pattern here where everybody is missing packages and mail. Maybe someone should call Help Me Howard. Even the Postal Inspectors ain't doing anything but apologizing for bad service. Call and see what they say as to where your package is. I know it's frustrating!!
Your package is likely gone for good but Amazon will likely refund you if you contact them and explain the situation. If that is the case, USPS will not reimburse you too but please file a claim and a complaint so they are aware of these issues plaguing this location. Theft is most plausible explanation somewhere along the chain from shipment to delivery. USPS here notorious for also leaving packages in front of apartment doors in Rochdale with no piink slips and no record of shipment and following up with this location is next to impossible.
