Samantha Moon, Yes they do I was in there 3 weeks ago and if u go towards the back of the store there should be a section with fridges and freezers.
Yes, I too have seen both upright and chest. I suggest calling Lowes to make sure, inventory and stock doesn't always match up. I recently bought a washer from one city, and the matching dryer from another because inventory wasn't correct.
They do carry both upright and chest. They did have an upright freezer last week when I was there.
