We called 2 weeks ago to rent an a piece of heavy equipment. We were told to be there Saturday morning at 8:30. We rearranged our schedule to be able to get the equipment and work for the day. My husband showed up and was told he was not on the schedule and that someone was renting it for a month. The lady did apologize but that doesn’t help the fact that now we can’t do the job that was scheduled to be done or that he had canceled the original piece of equipment at one of their competitors. Gillman was 100$ cheaper but you get what you pay for sometimes. We also, had them price a fence. We had to call daily to ask if it was done. When it was finally done it was going to be 22,000$ when the quote from Lowes and Menards were both under 10,000$. I totally get that people are overwhelmed with being over worked due to staff shortage’s. We are easy going people who treat people with respect. But we also have worked all of our lives and know the importance of customer service. I am very disappointed in Gillman and their service or lack of. We will not be using them again or recommend anyone else to use them as well.
