Dogs are very much allowed on Grandfather Mountain. We only ask that they're well-behaved and kept on a leash. However, they're not allowed in our buildings or wildlife habitats area. Be sure to let the folks at our Entrance Gate know your furry friend is with you, and they'll give him/her a treat or two.
Yes
Yes, dogs are allowed in the park, provided they're kept on a leash. They're not, however, allowed in the buildings or animal habitats area.
Yes dogs ate allowed with leash
I wouldn't take my dog.
As already stated
Absolutely! I brought my doggo and since he is small I had to carry him on the hike to the bridge. The only place theyre not allowed is in the animal exhibit.
Yes. In the actual gift store at the top I'm not sure, but while I was there, there was a family with their golden retriever. Just make sure to keep them in a leash!
