Trying to meet and exchange a rescue dog. I am coming down 74 southbound and the person is heading northbound to meet me. Is this possible to meet at any one of the 3 rest stops without having to drive beyond the exit. Same question to turn around?

If you plan to meet at I-73/74 Visitor Center Northbound - you (heading south) will need to turn around at the Black Ankle Exit (one exit down from the I-73/74 Visitor Center Southbound); once you are heading north again, your exit will be I-73/74 Visitor Center Northbound. An easier way would be to meet at the gas station right off of Exit 61, entering Seagrove. There is access for Northbound and Southbound traffic easily.
