There is a lot to do and see in Marietta and the Sternwheel Festival is an added bonus. The fireworks display is always awesome and the music is continuous!

Great place to get community information. The staff was nice, but if your allergic to cats stay away, they always have cats in there. Doesn't smell bad though.

Questions & Answers

Is there a schedule when the big Sternwheel boats will be in town this summer?

Nina Gath | Oct 24, 2019
Marietta-Washington County Convention & Visitors Bureau | Oct 24, 2019

Yes! Please note that due to circumstances beyond our control their schedule is tentative, and is subject to change. For example, if water levels in the river are too high, or if they have technical difficulties- they may delay by a day, or come in a day early. That being said, at this time, we see no reason for any delay or change in their schedule. Please check our web site (www.MariettaOhio.org) AND FOLLOW our Facebook page at Visit Marietta Ohio for up to date information about the boats! 2019 Queen Of The Mississippi scheduled Marietta visits: July 2 July 6 July 22 July 26 2019 American Duchess scheduled Marietta visits: July 20 July 24 THANK YOU!

No, it does not, unfortunately. However, the tour starts at 10am, and it's generally cooler at that time of day. All the windows are open, so there's plenty of fresh air.
