The caterpillar Visitor Center is an excellent place to go if you want to get to know much of the caterpillar equipment and history behind the company. Also a great place to take kids as there are multiple kid friendly activities and you can climb on some of the machines. It will not take a large part of time to see the entire facility. On the first floor they also have a gift shop with unique caterpillar merchandise.

Modern diaramas, interactive simulators, large machinery, and plenty of history to learn about from this historical American company. Also a great giftshop with very friendly staff.

Small but great museum. Good way for kids to pass a couple of hrs

Yes
The fatastic way Cat made this experience is totally accessible for any handicap or disability with elevators and flat surfaces. I took many pictures of my grandson on and off the machines and areas available to enjoy.
No they don't have food service and also it's not allow to bring food inside.
The only "real" part of the truck is the front cab. Due to the weight limits of the floor, the rest of the truck is made to scale but of lighter material.
