Some places are worth the wait, and in my experience Steak 'n Shake is one of them. I've dined at several around the region and each time received excellent, friendly service plus the food is always great.

Myself I like to sit at the counter so I can watch the guy on the grill and that way I can tell him throw me on another one last time I ate 5 I think they enjoyed my passion so much they only charged me 11 bucks me and my friend ate like a feast milkshakes everything God I love this place that's something to be thankful for on Thanksgiving if I had the money today I'd go there and get some

We love Steak n Shake being from the Midwest, we are so happy to have two locations near our home.
We always wait a few minutes. We go weekly so they see us come in and put our usual order in before we sit down.
Definitely worth the wait!
A moderate wait time is no problem, if I don't have starving children with me.
When the craving is there...yes!
