Howdy Garry - our instep is about average! We have designed our boots to be true to U.S. standard shoe sizes (from length to width to instep height). Hope that helps and feel free to take advantage of our free returns & exchanges!
I'd say its longer. I have a pair of the Wyatt's (Ostrich) and the Earl's (Calfskin) both in 10 1/2 EE, and the Ostrich is definitely more malleable and conformed to my foot faster though. Their exchange and returns are super easy if they dont fit, so I'd say try them out. Just make sure to try them on carpet.
