Realtors are Real Estate Agents they are Salesmen. They represent the seller or the landlord in a real estate transaction, not you, unless you pay them to represent you exclusively. If you suffer damages at the hands of a Realtor and file a complaint with Texas Realtors, they will continue to move the goal posts in favor of their comrade Realtor. Take them to small claims court or hire an attorney asap. Some Judges are just waiting to get their meat hooks into an unscrupulous Realtor. In most cases one can file a complaint with the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) they are the State licensing agency that can suspend or disqualify the Salesman's license. Do not forget these people are commissioned salesmen and they first have the interests of the seller or the landlord above yours, unless you pay them to represent you exclusively.

This review is directed at a specific realtor Adriana Veres who is associated with this organization. There is a character limit so I will need to be quite short. I gave Adriana a $50 cash fee to run a background check on me to potentially rent a property. I was told it would be sent day of. And then the next day, and then the next, for a week straight. I eventually was ran and signed with another realtor on their property. I send written correspondence to Adriana to withdraw my application and return the money which had not been used for the service as promised. It has now been over two months and Adriana continues to give me the runaround. I have heard nothing but excuse after excuse why the funds haven’t been returned yet. It’s a simple matter. I paid $50 to a realtor for a background check. It was never ran. I terminated and denied the request. I have written email confirmation from the background check company that it was refunded and it hadn’t been paid for until after I gave her written notice. I have given her multiple weeks between each interaction. It has been 2 months and after sever polite and professional attempts to reclaim my funds, Adriana has grown rude and condescending while still failing to return my money. I’d hate to know how many others this may have happened to. I sure hope I’m the first and last. As a small business owner and standing member in the community, I believe I have given ample time and patience for the situation to be remedied. I have all correspondence documented and time stamped via email and text. It’s a pretty unfortunate situation.
