I canceled my member ship in August of 2020. Apparently December 15th, they began taking money out of my check again without my permission. I cannot believe that this is happening, and they have not corrected it. My district payroll person said she has received many phone calls about this. Why would TSTA not fix this immediately when it was brought to their attention? Why have 8 paychecks of mine been deducted?

TSTA is not affiliated with TRTA. You will need to contact the Texas Retired Teachers Association for that information. http://www.trta.org/

Texas has several different paths to certification but, with the exception of some certifications in Career and Technical Education, all certifications require at least a Bachelor's degree. To find out the best route to certification for you, contact the certification office at the Education Service Center closes to where you live and they can provide you more information. I want to know if the money that one contributes each time we pay the tsta when one no longer wants to continue with the money that one is turned off or the money is lost thanks

No, your payments to TSTA are for being a member, that is, they have already been used and therefore at the moment of not wanting to continue they are not returned.
