My apologies.for the review that you received from Jive Turkey. Although I was not going to address this comment I now feel the need to do so. Ms. Turkey came to the restaurant as part of a large group. Most groups normally call for reservations but since we were unaware that they were coming, we were understaffed on the front. As part of that group, a gratuity is automatically assessed by the register. The gratuity is distributed evenly to each order on the ticket. Ms. "Turkey's" portion was $2. She never spoke to a manager before she left the restaurant and as I explained to her during our phone conversation, reversing the ticket would negate the entire sale and create a chargeback fee for the restaurant. I told her that I would gladly refund her cash and that she could pick it up at any time. That was a couple of months ago and she still hasn't picked it up. Yes, there are other places you could go but our catered events get high marks in both public and private sector.

This restaurant's customer service sucks. Don't even talk about the over charge on my credit card they still haven't had the courtesy of refunding if even by check. Their excuse it's the system that did it, not them. The amount even though small is my money and very unethical for them to submit a charge other than what I signed for. Food 50/50 it was not bad at all, but not worth the charge. Part of our group was eating while the others watched. Not good. So hope that helps Ms. Linda Brown. There are other places in Sumter SC.
