Pay a ticket & they find $1700.00 of tickets going back to 1996. How & why when I've paid tickets before now? All of a sudden I have tickets that didn't exist till now.

If you have any tickets on any old plates that you had under your name no matter who was using that vehicle and those tickets were not paid you are responsible for those tickets if you get booted and towed to get your car back. Those are just the rules. You will need to prove that you did not have those tickets and if you did why they were not paid. You must show proof or they will not listen to you. Plain and simple

You had tickets on old plates the fines do not go away. If you don't pay your fines they can boot & tow your car.
