How do I get on base as a new spouse getting an ID card?

Everything starts at the front gate but the best thing to do is go on there website and get all the information you need from there...

Head to the VCC with all documents. Key them know you need a dependent ID card and you need to go to DEERS at the Strom Thurman Building You can either call and make an appointment or do a walk in. You'll have to take your chances for walk ins as it can be very busy some days.

There web site will help you set appointment, make sure to print it. (If your spouse has not do so. )At the gate I showed driversID ,an appointments notice. Hope this helps
