Address: 967 Fairystone Lake Dr, Stuart, VA 24171, USA

Yes, we found some in May when we were there, but they were harder to find than expected. No tools needed, just patience and perseverance.

I found some of the Fairy Stones on top of Chestnut Mtn. In Franklin County, Va. Circa 1950s

Sort of. Fairystones are small cross shaped rocks just found on the ground no digging required. There is a gas station near the park were they are more easily found.

They say yes but really don't want you digging. They are supposed to be all over the ground but we didn't see any.

You can't use and digging tolls just surface hunt.

Melody Yates | Oct 23, 2018

Yes, we found some very easily. Most people think they naturally look like the ones you see in the store, but they don't. They could easily be passed over for rocks. The trail behind the Pit Stop, after a good rain, is an excellent time/place to find them.
