Leave at 6
So after asking this question and getting all the same answer, we visited today and turns out last entrance is at 6 and park closes at 7. We arrived at 4 and left at 7 and there is a sign at the entrance stating "Last entry at 6. Park closes 7 PM". Even the shop up at swinging bridge was open until 7 when we headed back down the mountain. Maybe it's different in summer.
6 PM because the bears get hungry about then and will eat you for dinner.

Yea you can't listen to all these comments unless they actually know the facts. Best thing to do is always try to contact the park itself. I've seen ppl on here saying it is a state park and others saying its private owned which it is, just like our state park in mcrae GA was bought out privately,.
