Hi is this pier for everyone? Do I need to be a resident of Long Beach? And is this a good spot for catching small snappers?

Fishing is definitely great at this pier, mainly fluke comes up during this time in the summer, but there's been other fish coming up too, and now they have a bait store that just opened on the pier, there's also a playground for kids and bathrooms within the area, parking is also within reach, I highly recommend visiting and take friends/family out to try. As far as residency, not needed, just all that is asked is to keep things clean, respect, with warm welcoming vibes, and obey the fishing size regulations. You'll have a great time! :)

Very nice and friendly place to fish. Many crabs and seaweed though. If it gets too hot you can go under the gazebo on relax in the shade and welcome the ocean breeze

You do not have to be a resident. People fish there but im not sure if small snapper is bountiful there.
