Our Emergency Exam costs $98.00 for dogs and cats. During the exam our veterinarian and nurses will obtain a history and present diagnostic options to determine the cause of your dog's vomiting. Based on their physical findings and your pet's symptoms, they would likely recommend x-rays and/or bloodwork as the next step. Our x-rays range from $242 - $432, depending on how many views we need and if we need a radiologist consultation. Blood work options for a Chemistry and Complete Blood Count starts at $141, but if we need a more comprehensive chemistry panel the cost could range up to $268. Ultrasounds cost $276.00, but are usually the next step after bloodwork or x-rays. The doctor may also prescribe a nausea medication or give an injection here in the hospital to help your pet feel better while we are trying to diagnose the cause of the vomiting. We see emergency cases 24 hours a day, so please call our hospital at 480-945-8484 to speak with a dedicated staff member that will help!
