No. If the grid goes down your solar panels will no longer function. They have a AC voltage sensing circuit that shuts down the panels if utility drops. This is a safety feature to prevent panels from feeding a fire, for example. Solar is not a good choice for an emergency power system. What happens at night? If you want an EPS look for a diesel generator.
