They take a few reservations through the app Resy but the more reliable way is to go in person. They start taking names at 5pm (be there before as there is always a line!) and seating starts at 5:45pm.

Simply don't go there. Not worth your time. There are other better options in the neighborhood. At the end of the day, you tell yourself, it's just pizza. There are better things in life than wasting half your night for mediocre food.
Lucali does in fact take reservations on the reservation service Resy, but it is still extremely hard to land a reservation. Slots are only opened up for two weeks out and fill up extremely quickly. It's also unclear when new days are added. But after checking Resy frequently for a month or two, I was finally able to land a Resy spot a two weeks ago.
