I'm italian, from Rome and Milan, I have to tell the the pizza is not so bad, it's quite good but no, it can't be black on the bread, if under is black it means the oven is not clean and that's an important error. In italy you pay a Margherita between 5, 6 euros but I know, we are in New York :D Also the tiramisù is perfect! Bravissimi! Cannoli instead is not the best, the inside is good but not perfect, is there cinnamon?!?, the crunchy shell is very good, molto bene. Another error, the focaccia needs to arrive with the appetizer and the pizza must arrive after i finished the appetizer. Anyway is really one of the best pizza here... almost the same as in Italy. Comunque sia bravi, 4 stelle meritate, peccato per la parte nera bruciata, inaccettabile, a Roma le rimandiamo indietro se son bruciate. Per il resto bene così.

Delightful neighborhood bistros with delicious fire oven pizza ... and fabulous meatballs. A family treasure!

This place is LEGIT. Came here while checking out some houses, and absolutely loved the food. While the front looks unassuming, the back has a giant wood burning pizza oven cranking out delicious Neopolitan pizzas. My wife and I kept it classic with a margherita and a kale salad (to make ourselves feel like we were eating something healthy). The pizza was great. Right amount of salt, not too much sauce or cheese, a great amount of char... just perfect. Service was also super friendly and helpful in navigating the menu. Will be back here.
