Not a wooden floor; but other than that, it's a legitimate roller rink. Music and lighting, too.
It is a real rink, not padded/it is a tile floor, open/public skates have music and lighting effects. Also there are hockey and roller derby leagues, birthday party space, and comprehensive skate shop.
Real roller skating rink. Lots of music. They do a mix of 80's and up.
I also grew up going to the Palace, but now live closer to Inline 309. The tile floor on Inline 309 feels way slower than the wood floor of the Palace. Music and lighting are what you would get at the Palace for the most part. The Palace is more open rink imo.
