My grandsons 8th birthday party was held here and it was awesome. I skated here as a teenager in the late 1970's so I was a little dubious about what the experience would be. The venue is actually very modern with a rubber floor, lots of black lights and disco balls, arcade games, party rooms and more. The employees - both adults and teenagers were welcoming and attentive and great to work with. I am thrilled to see that this skate rink is still going strong!

A great place for classic open skating. It's clean, the music and lighting is fun and the customer service is fantastic. Def will go again.

Not a wooden floor; but other than that, it's a legitimate roller rink. Music and lighting, too.
Yes, they are open! Not sure what their hours are but yes I was just there last Saturday night :)

You can use the locker rooms if you want. Whatever makes you comfortable :-)
They rent both
Shins yes. Elbow at your own risk... if you ask me.
Friday night open hockey usually has 15-20 players and 2-3 goalies. The players skill levels vary from novice to elite. Equipment : hockey helmet, skates, gloves, shin pads, elbow pads and a stick. If you are under 18 years old the helmet must have a full cage or shield.
Hi Squires_55 as of right now we do not have open hockey on Sunday nights. There is a 30 and over roller hockey league in that time slot. When we do have open hockey on Sundays it is typically only a small handful of players. Friday nights is typically a lot busier.
Talk to Frank at that rink. Great guy and he also has a Pro shop there with great pricing. In general... -Roller blades (without brakes) -Shin pads -Girdle w/cup(not the ice hockey kind, go to inlinewarehouse.com to see this) -Inline hockey pants -Padded shirt (same website) -Jersey, Inline 309 provides them -Helmet, same as ice hockey -Elbow pads, same as ice hockey -Stick, same as ice hockey -Gloves, same as ice hockey The main difference is skates, pants and girdle, and padded shirt (instead of chest plate). The girdle is worn under the pants in Roller hockey.
