Hi there, Virginia Parks. I would also like to know the answer to this one too. Although I am no longer a resident of 501 W Catalpa Street in Lexington as you have mentioned, that is where I was as a resident for all of the year 1972, some before and after too. At that time, my father worked for OEC Electric, plain and simple as it was then. He was John P. Skelly (1925-1998). When he would come home, off work, my brother Todd, and me, also known then as Chris, would get the work boots off of our father immediately, as he would ask us to. So, that is that story for now, and I am still interested to know when Lexington is going have OEC Fiber, although I am now age 52 almost age 53, and I am living in Bakersfield, California, U.S.A.., as is my brother, Eric Todd Skelly. Whew, years have gone by since I was age 5 there at 501 West Catalpa Street in Lexington. Drop me a response or answer of a one kind, I am still OEC oriented AND interested.
I have the same question as you do, but OEC won’t tell me when they’ll run the last 0.3 miles of fiber to get into our neighborhood. I would normally suggest that you call OEC, but I’ve been calling for months, and no one will tell me the answer or return my call. P.S., sorry you’re getting these weird spam answers from Robert. Be comforted though that it’s not just you; he’s been posting similar weird things on other questions, too.
Thanks! Your answer is awaiting moderation.
Do we have to be an OEC power customer to receive internet? Or can OGE users purchase the service?
