Yes! The time is the earliest that you can go (and it's okay if you get through security a little early, too). It's not a problem unless you are several hours late.

They did not look at my ticket time (I was 40 minutes early), just scanned it and sent me through. I would assume "late" would be just as fine because I believe they are trying to stagger traffic in the museum to prevent everyone from arriving at a peak time.
All dipens how late you are, and from the person who works there.
From my experience, it depends on the crowd flow. My 1st time, I was 20 mins early. The 2nd time I was like 10 mins late and was allowed in. So I cannot give a definitive YES or NO. I would just recommend trying your best to get there on time or a few minutes before your scheduled time.
The Times are 10am to 5pm so you can go in any time if you have a ticket for the day
