We were at the museum with 2 kids (1st&2nd gr). They didn't get bored a bit in any section. They loved the children place and all the presentation from Old&New Testament; also the part with the life of Jesus was very entertaining.

I would definitely look into the free audio guide hand held devices. They made every exhibit interactive and my kids (who were not initially all that thrilled about coming) were so engaged and excited about seeing each new part. The Nazareth exhibit and the walk through Old Testament multimedia experiences were their favorites.
