It takes about six days to "work" through it, but I would suggest you rest on the seventh day as instructed in the 4th commandment.
I teach Bible history, so I was already familiar with most of the material and it took me 8 hours to see everything basement to 5th floor. Unfortunately, about halfway through reading everything on the 4th floor it finally became an overwhelming amount of information for a single day. I read nearly all the descriptions but mainly only watched the videos in the theatres on the third floor, which were well worth the waits.
2-3 hrs for quick overview. 6-8 hrs to walk through all exhibits and lay eyes on art/artifacts. Multiple visits if you like to see & read everything.
They estimate 8 days 9 hours. I've taken 7 and barely hit the surface. I'd say 3 full days minimum.
2 days about 4hour
Get to the 3rd floor 3 videos as soon as you get there and you won’t wait. Someone told us that and it was amazing! They are done so well!
It depends. If you want to read everything and watch all the videos they say it takes 7 days. Now if you want to do a quick average museum visit, I think you definitely need at least 2 days. It's just too much information for 1 day. But it's really worth it!!
Where is the best place to stay nearby for out of towners?
We did 3 of 6 floors in 9 hours.
We went two different days. Depends how much you are a reader of everything. We read a lot, but I dont think we made it all the way through. Definitely go to"walk through the New Testament". But it's all great.
How much is the fee?
We did 2 floors in about 6 hours.
A day. Maybe two. I was there for three hours and saw ⅔ of all the exhibits
Is there a listing of what is on each of the 5 floors in the museum?
That depends on how much you want ro read and watch
How many hours does it take to go through the museum of the bible
Today I spend 8 hours, non-stop, andI believe I have needed that much more...
I would say if you take your time it would take easily 6 or more hours. There is so much to read look at and just take in.
If you only have one day get there when it opens, you will need all day for sure. If you have two days that's even better. We had one day and it was not quite long enough. Such a great experience.
I would love to visit the museum one day soon.
I think if you’re really reading through all the best stuff, you’ll find yourself spending a solid six hours, plus the added time of getting food and just taking everything in
