They check ID's to see if you are over 21 but I dont think you have to be 18 to get in normally. Sometimes there are specific concerts that are 18 plus though.

When you book bands do you pay them a flat fee or leave things reasonably vague so there's a chance you might not have to legally pay them for playing your venue? Or is that just what you do with Jammin Java? Asking for a friend.

Sorry for such a dumb question, I've been to Anthem down by the Wharf in DC but I've never even seen a sign for Union Stage. Is Union Stage an indoor or an outdoor venue for seeing bands/shows?
