When you book bands do you pay them a flat fee or leave things reasonably vague so there's a chance you might not have to legally pay them for playing your venue?
Or is that just what you do with Jammin Java?

Way above my pay grade. But you seem very unsatisfied. Maybe best that you reach out to management and booking not only for the venue but maybe over all for the wharf.
