As per NOVA Parks regulations: Swimming, bathing and wading are prohibited in bodies of water, to include, but not limited to, streams, rivers, ponds or lakes, within or adjacent to a park without the express written permission of the Park Authority. Swimming, bathing and wading in a park are permitted only in water facilities established by the Park Authority for such purposes and only during posted hours of operation.

Even though the answer seems to be that it is not allowed, the few times I have been here the areas for loading kayaks into the water were full of people near the shore wading and swimming some. Seems like it is not enforced.
