There are several mown areas where one can spread a picnic blanket. If you prefer a wooded setting, there a few cleared sites. Less traditional tables and grills are also available. Bring your home made goodies or purchase them nearby. No alcohol, though, it against the rules.

perfect place for a picnic but plan accordingly as its a pack it in pack it out park and as such trash cans arent available.
