Yes they do allow boating of non-motorized boats be sure to bring a paddle or two maybe three one might getaway tie them together with a rope and secure them in the boat is probably a good way to go about it if you're out there you're sitting duck there are no lifeguards nobody who could rescue you I guess somebody could cast out a fishing line and kind of reel you back in
