You can try other rescues, like Rotten Rottie Rescue. They don't have to be purebred but may not have room. They're the only Rottie Rescue in AZ.

Yes I would call them, they adopt out bigger dogs too.

AZSDR doesn't just have or take in small dogs. Call them.
