Was the dog that attacked Peyton Bryant and her mother "adopted" from Angels of Assisi. Had it not shown aggression before? Was the child in Botetourt attacked by a dog from Angels of Assisi. Thanks

Neither of these dogs were from Angels of Assisi. Both were tragedies and our hearts go out to the families. We do not believe in adopting out unhealthy dogs, from our facility, and the dogs involved in these 2 incidents were unhealthy. Bonnie, if you have questions, call me at 540-400-2233 instead of leaving literature at our doorstep and in the mail. Do not stalk us at adoption events, and stop causing trouble. Leave these families, and us, alone.

The children were safe locked in a vehicle. The person attacked was a dog handler of over 20 years and had worked for Angles of Assisi for a long time she had left Angles previously before the incident. It is not known if this particular dog came from Angles but this fact does not matter. The dog just attacked even knowing dogs for 20+ years working for angles and other places she had NO warning this dog would attack her family.
